How Often Should I Redesign My Website

We see sometimes or quite often some websites are as old as say five or six or seven or even ten years old, which makes it absolutely insane for having to wait so long to re-design a website.

As a thumb rule if asked for the frequency to redesign a website it would be every two years. This would be a maximum allowable time for a website to be on air, as technology and trends change in proportion with this frequency.

There are some sites which are non-responsive, which is sad and unfortunate because there are more and more people with easily accessible gadgets like mobiles or tablets or PC’s with different screen sizes looking for information. There are various reasons for not getting their sites redesigning, many Company’s see it as a one time investments or do not attach importance to redesigning, which only misleads users for an inactive site and therefore the Company’s reputation too.

With more accessibility to the internet, some of the redesigning process can incorporate their website to be Mobile user friendly, incorporate into social media, new functionalities could be added for improved usability, try to re-brand if needed, updation will anyways be necessary or a general shake up of the whole site. The above mentioned are few steps for redesigning are carried out due to the ever changing demand in technology and to keep pace with the demand. These are necessary redesigning features to be looked into every time there is an updation which can also add testimonials of happy customers..

While doing the above it will also allow scope to improve on the content and visuals, which will always bring about a fresh look to the whole site with added information on latest developments of the Company.

At  Meru Studios our relation with the Client does not end with the designing and creation, we take

Active part in their development and keep redesigning and updating as the Company evolves.
